The prior week’s rally did not persist meaningfully, despite financial media’s fascination with “new index highs” once again – which we know are meaningless indicators. In fact, most stocks and ours in particular were lethargic, barely budging from prior week price levels.
In what has become the norm for months, prices of our stocks were mixed – a few good gainers but others up only slightly with just as many down slightly, for likely very modest net progress on the week. Several recent trades still not finding any traction yet. A forgettable week overall.
With prices static and trend reversals absent, there are very few trade signals to act on, which is a challenge to new subscribers looking to put investment capital to work. As mentioned before, we need to see more consensus among investors – positive or negative sentiment – to move prices significantly, and with perplexing actions/non-actions coming from Washington seemingly every day, that may take a while.
